The standard work route depends on the job and contract. A CDI is generally associated with the employee route, while a fixed-term contract may lead to a temporary-worker route. In many standard cases, the employer must obtain work authorisation before the graduate can work under that status.

Will studying in English in France limit the student's future?
No. English allows students to access the programme immediately, while living in France gives them the chance to learn French gradually. That combination can become a strong long-term advantage.
Will employers recognise the value of DSTI?
Yes, over 600 companies accross the world have. DSTI strengthens employability through technical depth, internships, projects, professional certifications and fields with strong labour-market demand. The value is not only the diploma; it is the complete technical and professional profile.
Is DSTI too specialised?
Yes — deliberately. For students seeking careers in AI, data, cyber and computing, specialisation is a strength because the whole school is built around these fields.
Is DSTI too technical?
DSTI is technical, serious and selective by design. That is exactly why it is valuable, but students must be ready for mathematics, computing, logic and sustained technical work.
Are Online or Live Streamed study modes really taken seriously?
At DSTI, online is not a reduced version of the programme. The school was designed with hybrid education from the start, with same academic expectations, faculty, Direction of Studies and assessment framework, live-streaming, recordings, proctored exams, quality control and follow-up.
Can students find accommodation?
Accommodation must be prepared early. DSTI supports students through partners such as Studéa Nexity, Studapart and Feel Français, but students remain responsible for completing the process seriously.
Wouldn't Paris be the only serious choice?
No. DSTI is one school with shared academic standards. The French Riviera is an excellent first arrival point, especially for international students, while giving access to Sophia-Antipolis and a strong technology environment.
Is Paris too expensive?
Paris can be expensive, but it offers a dense academic and professional ecosystem. Students should also consider the French Riviera campus, especially for a stronger balance between lifestyle, safety perception and technology environment.
Do you guarantee internships?
No — and no serious institution should make that promise. An internship depends on the student's profile, effort, timing, interview performance and employer decisions. What DSTI does provide is intensive preparation from the beginning of studies: technical skills, projects, CV and cover-letter support, public profile guidance, job-board strategy, alumni network access, and close coordination between the Direction of Studies and Corporate Relations teams. DSTI's typical employment rate is consistently above 95%, but students remain active participants in their own success.
Why doesn't DSTI offer a pathway programme before the Bachelor?
Because the Bachelor itself is the pathway. In the French higher education tradition, students enter after high school with general scientific and humanistic foundations, then specialise progressively. DSTI's BSc CSE is designed exactly for that: building computing, mathematics, systems and engineering foundations from the ground up. Students with prior coding or technical experience are welcome — they will simply have a stronger start, not a wasted year.
Is AI overhyped?
Some AI marketing is overhyped, but DSTI does not teach AI as a buzzword. The programmes cover the engineering behind AI: mathematics, data, software, infrastructure, cybersecurity and deployment.
Won't AI replace humans anyway?
AI will transform work, but major technological revolutions have always created new high-value roles for those able to understand and master them. The real risk is not AI itself; it is being unable to work with it, challenge it, deploy it or control it. DSTI prepares students to be on the side of those who design, operate, secure and improve AI — not simply those affected by it.
